San Jose Jazz believes that arts education is an equity issue. With your donations, we look to secure enough instruments to continue to provide a free instrument to all students that want to participate in Progressions, our highly praised music program in both the Franklin-McKinley School District and now also with music classes at the Mexican Heritage Plaza.

We accept all instruments in playable condition. However, we’re especially in need of the following instruments. All instrument donations are tax-deductible:

• String Instruments (Guitars & Ukuleles)
• Percussion instruments (shakers, small hand drums, bells, etc.)
• Music Technology (Small MIDI controllers, microphones, audio interfaces, & other music production equipment)
• Modern Band Instruments (electric guitar or bass & amplifiers)

With your support, we currently have a full stock of pianos, violins and wind instruments (flutes, trombones, trumpets, clarinets) for our students to use and are not accepting these instruments at this time.

Don’t have an instrument to donate? No problem. We also need financial support to offset the cost of refurbishing and maintaining the instruments. Make a contribution online now.
