Art Boutiki

The brainchild of comic book publisher Don Vado, Art Boutiki is one of the hippest "underground" music venues in San Jose. Pass through a comic book studio/store to find a 150-person capacity warehouse space with an eclectic, electric vibe. Art Boutiki is primarily a dancing venue, and seating is very limited. Food, beer and wine are available.

Cafe Stritch

374 South First Street, San Jose, CA 95113

With a full bar and a menu of classic dishes, Cafe Stritch satisfies all tastes and appetites. Its centerpiece is music, evidenced by the mural of legendary saxophonist Rahsaan Roland Kirk near the cafe entrance. Called one of the best jazz clubs on the West Coast, Stritch is a destination for local jazz and indie performances, and features open cabaret seating.

Five Points

Due to recent county ordinance regarding the coronavirus, our co-presented jazz jam is postponed until further notice. Five Points Cocktail Bar is one of downtown San Jose’s brightest spots for drinks and conversation. You’ll find delicious craft cocktails, distinctive local brews and limited menu of tasty bar bites, along with a jazz jam each Monday evening, curated by SJZ.

Hammer Theatre

The location of the Summer Fest Music Lounge, Hammer4 is an intimate concert venue tucked inside the Hammer Theatre Center and just up the stairs from the main concert hub. With 4-top seating amongst a maximum capacity of 120 audience members, Hammer4 is a cozy Black Box theatre space showcasing today's hottest artists.

A premiere performing arts location on the Peninsula, the Albert & Janet Schultz Cultural Arts Hall is a spectacular venue with retractable theater seating, a raised stage and a glass-enclosed lobby space perfect for an post-concert refreshment from the lobby bar. Garage parking is free for OFJCC members and guests. Locked bicycle parking is also available.

The Studio is a prime event and concert space adjacent to the Poor House Bistro, San Jose’s premier New Orleans joint.
