February 15–March 5, we present an exhibition of six larger than life-size paintings by internationally-known artist Lesia Khomenko, who has exhibited her work across the globe, and at the Venice Biennale in 2012. The work will be exhibited in the the Unzipped Pavilion in San Jose's SoFA arts district.

A winner of both the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and the Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Competition, Jazzmeia Horn is one of the premiere vocal talents in modern jazz. Jazzmeia will perform arrangements from her most recent album, Dear Love, accompanied by the Marcus Shelby Orchestra and featuring internationally recognized Ukrainian trumpeter Dennis Adu.

Composer, arranger, and educator Dennis Adu is one of Ukraine’s most in-demand trumpet players. Dennis’s Winter Fest set will be his first for an American audience, and include an appearance by saxophonist Borys Mohylevskyi, a prominent voice in Kyiv’s improvised scene. They will be supported by bassist Marcus Shelby, pianist Luis Peralta and drummer Ben Espocito.

Whether as a pianist, composer, improviser, soloist or bandleader, Vadim Neselovskyi creates music that is truly inspired and wholly unique. Hear his musical breadth and deft touch during an intimate solo performance of Odesa, an ode to his hometown that has served as an evocative reminder of Ukraine's beauty and cultural legacy in the months since the Russian invasion.

Across 20 albums as bandleader, pianist Orrin Evans has showcased an authoritative mastery of his instrument and deep assimilation of the fundamentals. A deft tune deconstructor, he traverses a broad timeline of the vocabularies of swinging, blues-infused hardcore jazz and spiritual jazz/avant garde jazz traditions as well as the Euro-canon.
