Wellington Bullings adds a soulful touch to everything she sings, balancing soul, R&B and jazz with a rich sultry voice and natural elegance. Her recordings have earned praise from American Songwriter, Sound In Review and 303 Magazine, which called her voice “full-bodied” and “decadent.”

The Berklee College of Music alum released her debut album because I want to in July 2020, featuring original material on empowerment, love, heartbreak and soul searching. Her recent single “flame” explores black excellence and offers a positive narrative to the black community after the racial injustices that resurfaced in 2020, paired with a music video featuring local black artists and creatives. The song is featured in the documentary this is [not] who we are. Called “an artist to watch” by American Songwriter, Bullings releases her second album in 2026.
