Two-time Grammy Award winner Mads Tolling is celebrating the American Songbook with his trio and the amazing vocalist Kenny Washington. With his own distinctive style and flair, Mads has created an exciting show that touches on the nostalgic while breathing new life into some of the great standards of the 1920s-1960s. Mads will take us places we didn't know a violin could go. Recently dubbed “the Superman of the Bay Area jazz scene” (San Francisco Chronicle), vocalist Kenny Washington is a jazz virtuoso who thrills with his soulful interpretations, limitless range, and rapid-fire scatting.

Kenny Washington and Mads Tolling started performing together in 2015, including shows at Yoshi’s and Stanford Live, and Kenny was prominently featured on Mads’ chart-topping album, “Playing the 60s” that was released in 2017.

Joining Mads and Kenny this evening are world-class musicians Colin Hogan on piano and Gary Brown on bass.
