Spend Valentine's Day with "Tiny" Lindsey at the SJZ Break Room this year with a free glass of Prosecco, Lemonade or sparkling water and a Valentine's-themed area for photos with family and friends, setting the stage for a romantic concert by this New Works Fest artist.

Michael ‘Tiny’ Lindsey is a skilled and versatile bassist and background vocalist who has played with some of the biggest names in music, including John Legend, Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Boyz II Men, Common, Jay-Z and more. He has also performed live on TV shows like the Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel, Rosie O’Donnell, Martha Stewart and Last Call with Carson Daly.

Born into a family of musicians, Michael’s inevitable musical career began at an early age. By the age of fifteen, he was already performing in local venues throughout the New York area. With a wide-ranging ability to play genres such as pop, R&B, rock, jazz, blues, funk and gospel, he went on to form his career and develop his talent and reputation.

Over the past 13 years, Michael has toured extensively in the United States, Europe, Japan, South America, and Africa with artists such as Grammy Award-nominated Ryan Shaw, award-winning R&B artist Joe, Sunshine Anderson, Anthony Hamilton, Gavin Degraw, William DuVall (Alice In Chains) and Matt Nathanson. As a member of Sunshine Anderson’s band, he wrote, arranged and co-produced on her debut album Your Woman as well as albums by Ryan Shaw and smooth jazz artist Shawn Raiford.

Michael is also a 2022 New Works Fest artist. He currently divides his time performing, touring, composing and producing with various artists on both coasts of the United States.
