Summer Fest 2026: 3 Days of Blues Are Back — and the Lineup Is Stacked!

By SJZ Staff

This year's Blues/Big Easy Stage lineup is one for the books. After a year away, Friday night is back, kicking off the weekend with the zydeco-fueled West Coast groove of the Zydeco Flames and the raw, Mississippi-bred firepower of Harrell "Young Rell" Davenport — a 19-year-old prodigy from Vicksburg who went viral on his very first Chicago gig. Catch him before the rest of the world does.

Saturday brings San Jose's own M'sippi Slide, Louisiana's Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble, the rootsy outlaw swagger of Mitch Polzak & the Royal Deuces and Jubu Smith, lead guitarist for Maze featuring Frankie Beverly for more than 25 years and a true soul-gospel legend in his own right. Sunday closes out with Sacramento harmonica sensation Kyle Rowland, the rock-and-roll blues of McKinley James and Bay Area funk powerhouse BeaufunK Ft. Michael Jeffries. Just confirmed today is the last band for the stage, Johnny Vernazza & Anthony Cullins Band, featuring two Elvin Bishop alums.

The blues and soul don't stop there. The Soul Rebels bring their electrifying New Orleans brass to the Main Stage on Friday, joined by East LA soul favorites Thee Sinseers and Latin soul legend Joe Bataan on the Latin Tropical Stage. Soulful organ trio Parlor Greens and the retro Latin soul of Irene Diaz round out the vibe — all building to Saturday headliner Patti LaBelle and Sunday's grand finale with Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.

With three days of can't-miss music across every stage, now is the time to grab your 3-Day Pass and lock in hotel deals at the lowest prices of the season.
